Attack on Titan: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu gets more details and screens (exploration, bonds)

Earlier this week, Koei-Tecmo revealed that Attack on Titan: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu (an Adventure game based on the popular Attack on Titan series) would be released on March 30th, and would also get the usual Limited Edition. And today, some additional details and screenshots for the game were shared.

This time around, the focus is on two of the central elements of the game: exploration, and bonds.

Attack on Titan: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu – Exploration

After the ground collapses following the attack of titans, the group ends up in the underground levels of an old castle. The protagonist ends up in the 3rd level, and has to find a way to escape. To do so, they will have to solve the mysteries of the castle, while avoiding the titans roaming around.

During your exploration of the castle, you will find various tools: you will have to use those in order to find a way to escape. Also, you will sometime encounter titans, and you will have to take decisions within the (short) time limit: fight, or escape?

In the old castle, there are quite a lot of rooms to explore, and with some of them, you might end up not wanting to find out what happened inside… But despite all the tension, some characters stay true to themselves… such as Sasha, who simply can’t help thinking about food all the time.

Below, there are two illustrations showing:

  • Armin not giving up, and trying to find a plan after the team ends up surrounded by titans;
  • Connie’s joy after managing to defeat a titan without Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear.

During conversations with other members of the exploration team, you will be presented with various choices. Depending on the one you chose, your relationship with the various characters will improve or worsen… think carefully before picking one! Doing so will allow you to turn tense situations into occasions to learn more about your teammates.

Finally, here’s the latest batch of screenshots for the game:
