Arcade Archives Daioh releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Daioh. It’s a vertically scrolling shooting game originally developed and released on Arcade by Athena back in 1993 in Japan and released by Sammy in the same year in North America. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on November 2nd and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

The true old-school shooter with traditional mechanics and a solid challenge that shooter fans long for. This title includes a Japanese Version with a 2-button design where players switch between weapons by collecting items, and an International Version where players choose between all 6 weapons, using a different button for each.

Arcade Archives Daioh (Switch – eShop) comes out on November 2nd worldwide.
