Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp comes out before the end of the month worldwide (except in Australia, where it’s available since October 25th), and to prepare for this launch, Nintendo a promo game called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Friend Finder went live today. It can be played in your web browser, on either PC or smart devices. Click here to check out it!

Here’s how it works:

you answer a few questions from Katrina, and you’re matched up with an animal friend (there’s 17 of them in total). If you don’t like who you’re paired with, you can only try again…. as long as you don’t select “Sounds good to me!”;
you collect various items in four separate maps (Lost Lure Creek, Market Place, and OK Motors), alongside the animal friend you were paired with. There’s 3 of them in each map;
your trade those items for wallpapers by talking to Katrina.

In order to collect items, you first need to sign in with your Nintendo Account. Also, once a day, you can receive a Log-in Bonus that helps you search for items (it refreshes at 7PM PT / 10PM ET / 3AM BST / 4AM CET / 12PM JST). Naturally, said items can only be used in that promo game, not Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp itsel. By the way, you can send items to other players by using Social Media.

Finally, signing in with your Nintendo Account allows you to receive 200 Platinum Coins as present, though only once.
