As announced during the latest meeting with investors, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is soon getting a major update that will “broaden the scope of gameplay”. And today, the developers shared some early details about that update, to be released at the end of the month.

This update will bring several new features, starting with the Cabin. It’s a room that you can decorate with furniture, just like you would with your campsite. Even better: you can invite some animal friends to hang out! The cabin is a location you can access from the map.

Next: the friend list will allow you to display pictures taken within Animal Crossingl: Pocket Camp, in order to show them off to your friends. You will even be able to give kudos to pictures taken by your friends.

But that’s not all. The update is also bringing some welcome Quality of Life improvements, starting with some inventory increases:

  • furniture and clothing: increased from 2 000 to 3 000 each;
  • Collected Items: increased to 50. You will be able to increase it even further using Leaf Tickets (up to 200 items)

Finally, the update will allow you to have up to 4 special furniture items at your campsite (or cabin), which means that more than one special animal can visit at once.

And that’s it for this next update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which should be Ver. 2.0.0. It should be released on November 27th/28th, if past notifications are to be believed!
