Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer – E3 trailer, screenshots, and more

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is a bit different from the usual Animal Crossing games. In this one, your goal is to design the home for the various animals of the village… and more! Indeed, you can also ring your own touch to the public buildings, the hospital, and more. By using the amiibo card (which will launch on the same day), you can bring your favorite characters in the game.

In Europe and North America, there game will be sold in two versions:

– stand-alone (with an amiibo card)
– bundle with game + NFC adapter (with an amiibo card)

Each booster pack contains 6 cards (as opposed to 3 in Japan), for a total of 100 cards.

Here’s the main features of the game:

• Design the interior and exterior of hundreds of homes for animal villagers
• Leave your decorative touch on the school, hospital and other public facilities
• Collect and Connect – Collect and share amiibo cards of your favorite villagers, and invite them into your game
• Tap amiibo cards to invite up to four characters into a room to hang out
• Tap the amiibo cards of special characters to call in animals that would otherwise not appear in your game with requests

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) comes out on July 30th in Japan, and September 25th North America and October 2nd in Europe.
