Airborne Kingdom to be released this November

Freedom Games have announced that Airborne Kingdom, the flying city builder developed by The Wandering Band, will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 9th in Europe and North America.

This version of the game includes all the content ever released for the PC version, which includes the New Game Plus update.

This mode features a sprawling new world to explore with increased challenge and fresh twists like new town centers to give city builders a leg up on this more trying journey. The experience also introduces more variety with increased randomized elements ranging from questlines to kingdom placement.

Here’s a short video, some details, and some screenshots for the game:

A great kingdom in the sky once existed. It brought peace and harmony to the lands below. However, one day, that kingdom vanished. Without its guidance, civilization devolved and fractured. Now, a new community is taking to the skies and looking to restore the balance.

Take off into the rarefied air and travel throughout vast open landscapes to reunite the world. Gather and manage resources to expand. Dispatch workers. Construct academies. Research technology to better homes, water systems, and food silos to improve the lives of the citizenry. Then forge alliances by sharing supplies and knowledge with neighboring kingdoms.
