  • Fixed a bug that caused Steam Achievement’s “Bet the Best” to be unlocked on non-host pads.
  • Fixed “Auto-Select” prompts on wrestler selection screen even after manual selection.
  • The “apron to in-ring” technique is no longer activated in Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match.
  • Fixed a bug where a COM would wake up a downed opponent after performing a tandem finisher.
  • COM Fixed that Thunder Rosa’s Signature Move fires signatures from a distance where the attack cannot hit.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a transparent collision around the ladder model when a wrestler with a ladder in place was attacked.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the wrestler’s pose to change instantly when making a diving catch.
  • Fixed a bug that caused wrestlers who received an Irish Whip to enter an infinite running animation.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the attacker’s position to warp and suddenly shift into a grapple state when a thrown weapon hit.
  • Fixed the issue of hitting the corner post when Irish Whip toward the guardrail near the off-site corner.
  • Fixed a bug that caused down attacks to be triggered even when away from a downed opponent.
  • Fixed a bug in the casino’s Battle Royale that prevented powerful grapple attacks from being launched when standing.
  • Fixed issue with SFX not sounding when table was burned.

Menu (all platforms)

  • Fixed “Auto-Select” prompt still appearing after manual selection.
  • Fixed a issue where CAW was not automatically selected on the wrestler selection screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the AEW logo displayed in the News pop-up window was too light in color.

Minigame (all platforms)

  • Fixed COM’s inability to complete the “Path Tracer” mini-game on “Elite” difficulty level.

  • Replaced the title screen with artwork for Season 3.

AEW: Fight Forever – Ver. 1.08

Additions On All Platforms
  • You can now invite friends and form parties within Stadium Stampede.
  • Voice chat is supported among party members in Stadium Stampede.
  • You can now match as a party for the Solo match type in Stadium Stampede.
  • Two new Stadium Stampede match types are playable: Duo Stampede and Quad Stampede.
  • A “match type select” screen has been added to Stadium Stampede, as well as tutorials for the new match types.
  • You can now check the gamertags of other players in Stadium Stampede, after selecting a spawn location at the lobby screen.

Fixes On All platforms
  • Fixed a bug that caused players to pass through walls in Stadium Stampede.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented field hockey stick attacks from hitting frontal enemies in Stadium Stampede.
  • Fixed a bug that caused multiple damage when colliding with a horse and cart in Stadium Stampede.
  • Fixed a bug that affected attack hit counts in Stadium Stampede, so that now if a weapon attack hits 
  • more than one enemy, the number of times it is used is reduced by only one.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed horse attacks in Stadium Stampede to hit downed enemies.
  • Fixed a bug that affected horse attacks in Stadium Stampede, so that now a horse’s durability value is reduced when it attacks.
  • Overall performance of weapon attacks in Stadium Stampede has been adjusted.
  • Grapple attacks in Stadium Stampede now hit the nearest enemy when there are multiple enemies in range.
  • Fixed a bug that would cause the AI to be stuck in the middle rope down state.

AEW: Fight Forever – Ver. 1.07

  • Added new feature “Add Released Teams” to the Custom Team menu. If the player has purchased the AEW: Fight Forever FTR: Revival Pack, FTR can be added as a tag team.
  • Added a menu to customize materials for CAW parts.
  • Added Shadow Wrestler skins from RTE to CAW.
  • Added Character HUD Settings to the Options menu.
  • Minigames are now unlocked from the start, excluding DLC minigames.

  • Fixed an issue where the number of tag match wins per wrestler was not being displayed correctly in entrance and victory scenes.
  • Fixed an issue where the AI would repeat combos even when no blows hit.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed wrestlers to get inside the ladder.
  • Fixed an issue that caused ducking animations to clip onto the ring.
  • Fixed an issue where running counter’s reach was being triggered when the opponent had finished running.
  • Fixed an issue in the free action time after tag-in; if the partner who was just tagged out guarded and remained guarding when that time expired, then that wrestler would remain stuck (inoperable) in the guard state.
  • Fixed an issue in Casino Battle Royale where the indicator would show color before the AI rings in.
  • Fixed an issue where, after removing a DLC entitlement, DLC moves assigned to a roster wrestler would revert to a custom wrestler’s moves. The moves now revert to that roster wrestler’s default moves.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed wrestlers to be able to enter the inside of a standing ladder.
  • Fixed an issue that caused indicators to be displayed in victory scenes.
  • Fixed an issue where the AI’s entrance could not be skipped by pressing the □/X button when starting a match using the keyboard in the main menu.

  • Modified tag team matches, so that a wrestler who returns to the apron during a danger will remain groggy on the apron until the danger ends.

  • Fixed an issue where the Finisher/Signature guide was displayed while down on a table.

Gameplay Balancing:

  • Action Skill “Bail Out” can now only be activated once per match.
  • Action Skill “Guard Break” changed to succeed based on a probability which is tied to your current Momentum amount.
  • The amount of remaining HP required for Passive Skill “Unyielding Poise” to negate incoming strikes has been increased.
  • Stat skills: Reduced power differences between levels
  • Passive skills: Reduced active time

  • Fixed an issue in Stadium Stampede where the screen would flash when equipping bombs.
  • Fixed an issue in Stadium Stampede where the game would crash when starting a session.

  • Fixed an issue where the title freezes after pressing the “Options” button during a gameplay replay.
  • Fixed an issue where the title crashes when opening the Leaderboards for the second time.
  • Fixed an issue when beginning an online match with a Custom Arena selected by the host, the game goes to a black screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the title crashes when opening the Leaderboards for the second time.
  • Fixed an issue where during a ladder brainbuster, both Wrestlers may suddenly fall to the floor and may get stuck in the mat. In such a case, the match didn´t continue.
  • Malakai Black’s finisher name changed from “BLACK MASS” to “THE END”.

How to download updates for AEW: Fight Forever for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for AEW: Fight Forever, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
