Ace Attorney: home video release for the anime series in the US, LINE stickers

On September 24th, the last episode of what is most likely just the first season of Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu”, Igiari! (the Ace Attorney anime series) will air in Japan. Naturally, Crunchyroll will have it fully subbed in English shortly after it’s aired, just like for the 23 other episodes of the series.

But it turns out that the Ace Attorney anime series is going to get a home video release in the United States, courtesy of Funimation.

Yesterday, the company announced a special partnership with Crunchyroll, who is already streaming the anime series. Thanks to this partnership, Funimation is going to distribute Crunchyroll’s titles through home video (and a variety of EST outlets), and that includes Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu”, Igiari!.

Crunchyroll specifies that the series Funimation is going to distribute via home video release will be available with both dubbed and subtitled versions together. That implies the Ace Attorney anime series is indeed going to get an English dub, but nothing concrete has been announced for now. As soon as we get more details, we will make sure to have a separate post for it!

In the mean time, if you use LINE, you can now get some stickers based on Gyakuten Saiban: Sono “Shinjitsu”, Igiari! from the LINE store:
