Ace Attorney 6: pics of the Limited Edition, returning character confirmed?

NB: this post may contain spoilers about a potential returning character. If you don’t want to know, stop reading right here!Gyakuten Saiban 6Earlier this month, during a livestream on AmebaFresh!, Capcom announced that Ace Attorney 6 would get a Limited Edition in Japan (only sold via eCapcom, and not available anywhere else). This Limited Edition includes the following:

  • a copy of the game
  • a drama CD
  • a tote bag
  • a plushie of Mitamaru (Bokuto Tsuani’s dog)
  • a set of postcards
  • some keychains

Today, Capcom revealed some pictures of the Limited Edition, and showed what its contents look like:

First, we have the big box, which is meant to look like some furniture from the Kurain Kingdom. But more importantly, we get pictures of some of the postcards that comes with this Limited Edition.

One of them features pixel artworks of characters, including… one Ema Skye. Introduced in the extra case of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, she was also the main detective in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. Unfortunately, she wasn’t in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, despite this entry taking place after the fourth one.

Of course, Ema being on that postcard isn’t quite a confirmation that she’s back in Ace Attorney 6. That being said, it would certainly be surprising for Capcom to put her there when all the other characters on the postcard do appear in the game. The only exception is Trucy Wright, but her presence of the game is pretty much confirmed at this point.

What’s more, players who did beat Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies know pretty well that the detective in that game certainly isn’t coming back anytime soon.No doubt we will get a confirmation in the next issue of Famitsu magazine, which should have new details about the game.

Ace Attorney 6 (3DS) comes out on June 9th in Japan. A European and North American release has already been confirmed.
