Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series (the first one on Nintendo Switch 2!), and it comes out on September 17th worldwide.

August 18th
The Lady of Lilies (voiced by Iida Hikaru in Japanese) is a beautiful woman who hides half her face behind a veil. It seems she enjoys watching fierce battles, and she can be seen watching the Heroic Games with excitement (her seat is right next to the Divine Sovereign, Solel). She’s always clutching her teddy bear, Babbu.
Likes: blood, rare flowers.
The video below shows a scene taking place in the basement of the Grand Colosseum. The Lady of Lilie’s real name appears to be Iliana, and watching her, one can tell she’s a figure of considerable influence.
August 18th
Solel (voiced by Kazutaka Ishii in Japanese) is the Sunbearer, a pillar of the Dagdan pantheon. He serves as a representative of the Divine Emperor Dagda, who has fallen into a deep slumber. He’s the Divine Sovereign, who rules over the Empire.
Likes: board games.
The video below shows a scene where Solel declares the opening of the Heroic Games. Officially, the purpose of this tournament is to wake the Divine Emperor Dagda from his slumber by offering a sacred battle in which the strongest warriors from all over Dagda take part.
August 12th
Troy (voiced by Kaori Nakamura in Japanese) is a reliable warrior who joined the Saviour’s Army after being contacted by the person who prepared Eshmel’s body. She’s well-acquainted with the successive kings of Saramis, and Theodora used to call her “Grandma” back when she was a kid.
Likes: her comrades, lush nature, maintaining weapons.
The video below shows the scene where Troy joins Eshmel and the others. According to Hong Hua, Troy is a fairly high-ranked individual.
In battle, Troy takes down enemies from a distance with “Zerberus”, a portable weapon designed exclusively for her.
August 10th
Hong Hua (voiced by Airi Ootsu in Japanese) is a woman who guided Fortuna, the Goddess of Fate, to the “Forbidden Land”, and helped bring forth the Saviour. She has committed a grave sin in the past, and is determined to fight at all costs — including that of her own life — to atone for it.
Likes: Memories of happier times.
The video below shows a conversation between Hong Hua and Eshmel. In order to stop the armies of the Underworld, the two of them head to Dagda, where Fortuna awaits them.
Hong Hua is a powerful magic user. When she uses magic to attack, her Skill “Crimson Magic Power” (official English name TBA) activates, and increases her hit rate.

August 6th
The Obelisk Chamber is a special place prepared by Fortuna. Nestled within Dagda, it is slowly being swallowed by the Underworld. It is a mysterious place, free of the presence of the dead. By touching the Obelisks, one can interact with the past of the four great warriors that distinguished themselves at the Heroic Games five years ago.
You can follow each of the four protagonists’ stories by touching their respective Obelisk: the Fox Obelisk for Cai, the Lion Obelisk for Dietrich, the Wolf Obelisk for Theodora, and the Eagle Obelisk for Leda. When you touch an Obelisk and travel 5 years in the past, your player character passes the torch to the protagonist whose story you chose to interact with.
August 6th
Fortuna (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa in Japanese) is part of the Dagdan Pantheon. As the goddess who governs fate, she has the power to influence the past to a limited extent. In order to defeat the Demon God Balor, the King of the Underworld, and his army, she travels back in time with Eshmel to guide four warriors (who have since passed away).
The video below shows the scene where Fortuna makes her first appearance. Judging by the supernatural powers she displays, she clearly has earned her nickname of “Goddess of Fate!”
August 5th
Sothis (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa in Japanese) is the Progenitor God, a mighty being also known as The Beginning. With the world facing destruction following the ressurection of the Demon God Balor, the King of the Underworld, Sothis entrusts the fate of the world to Eshmel, ordering them to bring light back to it.
August 5th
Eshmel (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Marina Inoue in Japanese) is a saviour who descended upon the doomed land of Dagda at the behest of Sothis, the Progenitor God. Their appearance evokes the “Herald of the Pale Raven” mentioned in an ancient poem.
Likes: small, nameless flowers, people with lofty aspirations, anything that exceeds their expectations.
Just like in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you can customise the appearance of the character to your liking. The default name is Eshmel, but of course, you’re free to choose your own name if you prefer. Eshmel and “The Saviour” are two “official” names used in official announcements and videos.
In battle, Eshmel uses The Nameless spear to purify the souls of the Underworld. They can also unleash a powerful Blaze Art known as “Evil-Slaying Flash Strike” (official English name also TBA).
August 4th

Also, 10 tracks are now available early on Nintendo Music as a special release! And a manga adaption will debut on September 4th in Saikyou Jump in Japan! Finally, Nintendo Today! is getting a Fire Emblem theme on August 5th!
August 4th
Creek (voiced by Toshiki Iwasawa) is a general of the Kingdom of Arago, renowed for his exceptional intellect and shrewdness. He’s the second half of the “Twin Pillars of Arago”, the other one being Red Knight Nathan (introduced yesterday). Just like his partner, few people in Dagsion have not heard of his prowess as warrior. As a stark contrast to Nathan, Creek is a rather sarcastic fellow, who tends to take a cynical view of everything.
Likes: the green armour he received from the King, beautiful women, studying military strategy.
The video below shows a scene taking place on a battlefield. The Twin Pillars of Arago are locked in a back and forth battle with Theodora, the Queen of Saramis.
Just like Nathan, Creek stands as an enemy during the Heroic Games. He also rides a horse in battle, and confounds his opponents with his dazzling swordplay.

Nathan (voiced by Makoto Kaneko in Japanese) is a valiant general of the Kingdom of Arago, who boasts overwhelming power. He’s known as one of the “Twin Pillars of Arago” along with Green Knight Creek, and is famous throughout Dagsion. Nathan is a deeply loyal man, whose personality is so straightforward, it borders on naiveté.
Likes: the red armour he received from the King, being loyal, training in all martial arts.
The video below shows a scene occuring just before one of the Heroic Games matches. Faced with the two top fighters from the Kingdom of Arago, Dietrich certainly seems fired up!
At the Heroic Games, Nathan stands as an enemy. He makes ample use of his horse’s mobility to take the lead and wreak havoc on the battlefield with his signature spear.
