Sophstar – Ver. 1.12

  • Release date: ???
  • Patch notes:

NEW TRAINING MODE

Training Mode has been revamped. You can now select different sections of each stage to practice, instead of only starting from the beginning of a stage or from boss encounters. We hope this provides better practice opportunities for players looking to improve their strategies.

OUTLINES FOR ENEMY BULLETS

You can now add outlines to enemy bullets, with different colors and thickness settings, significantly improving visibility during gameplay.

PLAYER SHOT TRANSPARENCY

Adjust the transparency of your ship’s shots to reduce visual clutter and improve overall screen readability.

BACKGROUND DIMMING

You can now darken stage backgrounds at different levels, increasing the contrast between the background scenery and the gameplay area.

All of these options can be found in the game’s Options menu.

In addition, Sophstar now displays the number of completed Arcade Mode runs you’ve played. It doesn’t really serve any practical purpose, but we thought it was a fun little statistic to have!

We’ve also fixed a few small bugs that probably nobody ever noticed.
