Mercenaries Saga 2 (3DS eShop): trailer and info

Today, a 3DS game called Mercenaries Saga 2 came out in Japan, on the Nintendo eShop. It’s a Strategy-RPG developed by RideOn Japan, with some Event Parts just before battles: during those, your characters will interact with each others (and even the enemies, sometimes).  The goal of each battle is to get close to your enemies, and then to defeat them or meet the victory conditions (which vary with each map).

When you do so, you get:

– items;
– experience points (your characters level up each time they get 100XP);
– skill points (so your characters can learn some new moves).

Obviously, the battles are turn-based, and the number of characters you can bring on the battlefield depends on the map. If one of them is KOed, then you’ll have to wait several turns before you can revive them. If there’s not enough time, your character will remain KO for the rest of the stage. Before battles, you can make adjustements to your party, purchase items at the store and more.

The game includes 32 stages (more than the smartphone version), and some extra stages for the Free Battle mode. Mercenaries Saga 2 came out today on the Japanese eShop (on 3DS), where it cost 500 Yen.
