PAX East 2020
Nintendo have shared their plans for PAX East 2020, which takes place from February 27th to March 1 in Boston:
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be playable, for the very first time. There will also be a “full-scale immersive experience” with life-sized recreations inspired by the game. There will be photo op with costumed characters (K. K. Slider, Isabelle, and Tom Nook). Players who try out the game will receive a Tom Nook tote bag. There will also be a guide showcase on Nintendo’s demo stage. My Nintendo members who have their QR Code scanned at Nintendo’s booth will receive a pin;
- Pokémon Sword and Shield will be playable, and players who try it out will receive a special booklet featuring images from Galar. There will also be Max Raid Battles on stage;
- Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be showcased on stage, including the ScreamPark mode;
- The Stretchers will be playable.
If you have a Nintendo Account and have already registered to PAX East, you can reserve a free Warp Pipe to get priority access in line to try out Animal Crossing: New Horizons (from February 25th).
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch) comes out on March 20th worldwide.

Trials Rising
In order to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Trials Rising, a special event will go live on February 26th (and until March 9th). It will feature the following:
- the Lynx Helmet will be redeemable for free through the Ubisoft Club (will cost 30 Coins once the event has ended)
- there will be Golden Redlynx Emblem hidden across 10 different tracks on the Trials Rising world map. Collect all 10 emblems to unlock the exclusive Golden Lynx Helmet variant;
- special event Gear Crates players can earn for level ups during the event. Those crates can include the following: Birthday Cake, Birthday Hat, Redlynx Snapback & Lynx Bobblehead.
