- Online tournament ELO system changes. The base level of points at the start of a tournament will now be set to 750pts instead of 0pts.
- Online tournament rule changes to improve the integrity of online play. A win/loss will now be recorded when a player disconnects once a match is underway, even when the match score is 0-0. The player who disconnects will record a loss.
- Career Mode progress issues addressed
- Cueball default position for break off has been randomised
- “Base to Base” Challenge frame rate improved
- General improvements to online play

- New game mode added – Practice Table is now available in-game. When using the practice table, you can respot the white ball anywhere and retake shots. This addition was a direct response to your feedback, so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
- Online VS matches now use Pro+ Aiming Aid
- Tournament calendar update. The ‘Winter Open’ added to run in December during the World Snooker break for the holidays with brand new exclusive reward pack
- Fixed a bug affecting the break off in Six Red matches
- Commentary improvements, including a fix for a bug affecting plants
- Small improvements to side spin that have made a positive impact. We have adjusted the ball/ball friction properties, which has an impact on the amount of push out to the side that the cueball will have. After a period of closed testing and player feedback, this was found to be the best change to implement.

How to download updates for Snooker 19 for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Snooker 19, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
