Pokémon Sun and Moon – Salazzle distribution
Today, a new Pokémon distribution for Pokémon Sun and Moon was “announced”. It will allow players in the United States to get a special Salazzle for their copy of the game. Here’s details about this Pokémon:
- Level: 50
- Ability: Corrosion
- Moves: Fake Out, Toxic, Sludge Bomb, Flame Thrower
- Hold item: Focus Sash
This special Salazzle will be distributed via Serial Codes, available at GameStop stores from August 14th to July 4th. This distribution is meant to coincide with the release of the Burning Shadows expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game.
It’s all but guaranteed that other countries will also get this distribution, but nothing has been announced so far. Fortunately, it’s only a matter of days until we get a proper announcement for this distribution, and in all countries.

Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!
Today, The Pokémon Company announced that the latest Pokémon movie, Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!, would get a limited theatrical release in several countries around the world, on November 5th and November 6th (in collaboration with Fathom Events).
If you somehow never heard of the movie before, here’s a quick summary of the story:
Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! is an origin story highlighting Ash and Pikachu’s first meeting and their adventures as they search for the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh. The iconic pair encounter familiar faces along the way, new characters including Trainers Verity and Sorrel, and even a mysterious new Mythical Pokémon, Marshadow. Challenges and epic Pokémon battles abound in this unique new story about the beginning of one of the most beloved friendships in popular culture.
Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You will be shown at select movie theaters, but only for two days (on November 5th and November 6th), and in select countries. Unfortunately, details about those screenings (time, countries, theatres, ticketing dates, etc.) will only be shared at a later date via the official website.
