Europe: video games sales for Week 48 (UK), Week 47 (France), more
United Kingdom – Video Games Sales (Week 48)
After a strong debut, last week, Pokémon Sun and Moon had an average second week, and dropped to #10 and #9 respectively. Since we’ve entered the strongest period of the year for video game sales, that drop was to be expected, especially for a handheld game (available in two versions, to boot).
Pokémon Sun and Moon remains the best-seller on Nintendo 3DS, as Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS didn’t sell nearly enough to even dream of outselling it. This handheld version landed at #25, which shows that a large number of players were satisfied with the Wii U version (and that not that many players were interested in a handheld version). On Wii U, the best-seller is once again Mario Kart 8.

France – Video Games Sales (Week 47)
In France, we finally have games on Nintendo platforms in the Top 5, and unsurprisingly, it’s Pokémon Sun and Moon! They’re also the best-sellers on Nintendo 3DS, but that was to be expected since they’re #1 and #2 of the All-Format chart. On Wii U, Just Dance 2017 is once again dominating sales.

Italy – Video Games Sales (Week 47)
Just like in France, we finally have some games on Nintendo platforms in the Top 10 after many weeks without a single one. Unsurprisingly, it’s Pokémon Sun and Moon, which landed at #1 and #2 respectively.

Switzerland – Video Games Sales (Week 47)
In a market completely dominated by the PlayStation 4, Pokémon Sun and Moon is the only Nintendo 3DS game in the Top 10.

Australia/New Zealand Video Games Sales (Week 47)
For the second week, Pokémon Sun remains #1 in Australia, with Pokémon Moon slipping to #3. Meanwhile, on Wii U, Just Dance 2017 pops back up at #10. Those games are the best-sellers of their respective platform.
In New Zealand, Pokémon Sun and Moon both lost 2 places, and ended up at #3 and #4 respectively. Unfortunately, there isn’t any other game on a Nintendo platform in the Top 10. The best-seller on Wii U is… Assassin’s Creed III.
