The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Details about some ZELDA NOTES features (with footage)

As shown during the Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2 is compatible with the ZELDA NOTES feature of the Nintendo Switch App for smart devices. It offers a variety of features designed to allow you to make the most of your adventure through Hyrule.

Today’s Record

One of the features is called Today’s Record, and as the name indicates, it allows you to review your gameplay records/achievements for the day, in chronological order. You can also check various stats from that day’s play sessions, such as the number of enemies defeated.

Gossip Quests

Gossip Quests is a feature that will have you travel throughout Hyrule in order to clear some “quests.”

The quests in question take the form of pictures: your goal is simply to find the location shown on them in-game. When you do find one, you earn some points. Those can then be exchanged for ocarina sheet music.

Play Ocarina

This feature allows you to play the ocarina simply by tapping the screen of your smart device. With sheet music, you can play along with the guide, or simply listen to music being played automatically. And that’s not all: you can also create your very own melodies and share them as sheet music (via a QR Code).

Ocarina of Time Quiz

Do you think you know everything about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time? The Ocarina of Time Quiz will have you answer a series of questions about the game for you to prove it. There’s over 2,000 of them in total, including trivia questions and photo challenges.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Switch 2) comes out on November 5th worldwide.
