Story of Seasons: Trio of Town – Additional details (characters), screenshots

Story of Seasons TrioThis week, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is featured in Famitsu magazine, which reveals additional details about the game. Let’s start with the secret marriage candidate: the Inari. In a previous issue of the magazine, their gender was not specified, and it turns out it depends on the gender of the player. If you’re male, the Inari will be female, and vice-versa.

The Inari are quite different from other marriage candidates: even though you can marry them, you cannot have children with them (so keep that in mind if you’re planning to date them). Overall, a male Inari is pretty similar to a female Inari: the only difference seems to be the facial expression, which is slightly softer for a female Inari.

Next, here’s some of the characters you will find in each of the three villages:

Westown

  • Hector: Hector happens to be the son of Megan (an old lady from Westown), and he runs a farm with her. He doesn’t really like to talk, and generally remain quiet.
  • Colin: he’s Hector’s son. Just like his father, he’s not really the talkative type. But there’s one thing he does love: drawing, and bugs. He can often be seen playing with Noelle, a little girl from Westown.

Luluco Village

  • Halba: an old man who comes from another country, who took his grandson (Tigre) with him when he decided to move. He used to be a pretty well-known warrior, but it looks like he retired.
  • Tigre: a pretty polite boy who looks up to his grandfather. He’s also pretty fond of Ludeus, and is often seen hanging around his shop.

Head after the break for the rest of this post!

Tsuyukusa Village

  • Umekichi: he manages a farm with Omiyo, his wife. He’s Yuzuki’s grandfather. He works in the rice paddies, but he’s not, he’s coming up with various stories (he sometimes write them down).
  • Omiyo: a pretty talkative woman. She’s Yuzuki’s grandmother. While her husband likes to come up with stories, she prefers to draw. She also likes to walk through the market.
  • Moriya: the owner of the marketplace, and a pretty strict man. He takes his business pretty seriously.
  • Sumomo: a little girl who lives and works at the marketplace. She’s pretty clumsy, and despite often geting in trouble with Moriya because of her clumsiness, she never gives up.

Finally, we have the host and contest judges. Those special characters only appear during certain festivals.

  • The Host (no name): she’s the one who hosts the shows and contests. If you can participate in a contest, she’ll come and tell you the day before it takes place.
  • Del Cossa (returning character): he’s the judge of the Fashion Show.
  • Woofio (returning character): the judge for all the contests/shows involving animals.
  • Saffron (returning character): the judge for the cooking contests.

Finally here’s a neat detail from one of the videos Marvelous shared on Twitter: it looks there’s some lines of dialogues with NPC that are triggered simply by walking near them.
