The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HDIn an interview to be published on NintendoLife, Eiji Aonuma talks a bit about his personal life, and reveals that until The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, his wife had never played any of the games he had made. But one day, without any warning, she went and played Twilight Princess with their son (who was 3 at the time), because she thought it would be too difficult for him.

She only planned to help him go through the beginning of the game, but she actually found out she wanted to play until the end. At the time, Eiji Aonuma’s son was too scared of the Imp Poes to play, but he recently played the Wii version on his own. He wasn’t even encouraged to do so, he simply thought he could finally play it on his own. Unfortunately, Eiji Aonuma is quite sad that he couldn’t really tell his son to wait for the HD version on Wii U!

For Eiji Aonuma, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess “has something to it that means you can play it even now without the game feeling too dated.”

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (Wii U) comes out on March 4th in Europe and North America, and March 10th in Japan.
