Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection – Ver. ??? (Patch 1)
- Release date: ???
- Patch notes:
- “Some Xbox and Switch Players reported an issue where the game couldn’t launch; the splash screens would appear, but the game would close shortly after. Some players reported being unable to import their save or save after importing, even on a different save.
- FIXED: We increased the save data size so the game can accept much larger save files. The issue was caused by the size of the imported save file and how it was unpacked between games. There was an imposed limit, but this should now be resolved. This should also help those who have managed to import a save but experience a crash when attempting to save.
- Some players who did import their game save noted that the characters were not moving; staff were rage-quitting, as they were not fulfilling their needs.
- FIXED: We applied a fix to the characters’ behaviour graph. When the save was imported, the characters could lose their place in the graph. We applied multiple fixes to resolve the issues with imported graphs so that characters will move around again after a save is imported. The fixes are as follows:
- Restoring data for incorrectly saved behaviour states
- Improved the navigation path for some of the interactable items
- Added safeguard mechanisms for behaviour actions that shouldn’t be running and ending them immediately instead of allowing them to run indefinitely, preventing stuck behaviours
- FIXED: We applied a fix to the characters’ behaviour graph. When the save was imported, the characters could lose their place in the graph. We applied multiple fixes to resolve the issues with imported graphs so that characters will move around again after a save is imported. The fixes are as follows:
- Some Switch 2 players mentioned performance drops.
- FIXED: The Switch 2 did not have an FPS cap, so it could reach high FPS, causing fluctuations. The Switch version now has a 30 FPS cap.
- Some players noted that one of the items, when selected, was causing the game to freeze
- FIXED: The cause for this issue was that the item was encountering an error when being selected, causing the game to freeze, the error was resolved and the item can now be selected without the game freezing.
- Some players reported that Grid View did not persist when the menu closed and would return to the items list view.
- FIXED: Grid View selection should now persist, rather than default to list view each time
- It was noted in testing that the characters were sometimes not playing their animations when the characters moved; this was also spotted on the live build during internal testing.
- FIXED: Characters should no longer slide or fail to animate when performing actions. Previously, animations were not always being applied correctly when a character progressed through their behaviour graph.
- Some players raised that the Training Staff Achievement was not triggering correctly.
- FIXED: When loading into a career or level, achievements should correctly register that the related career goal that has been completed will trigger the achievement to pop. The issue previously affected training staff and career goal-related achievements.
- Some players reported the Staff list Menu was laggy when opened or navigating the tabs
- FIXED: We’ve optimised and refactored some of the Staff list loading; our testing suggests you will see a marked performance improvement with this menu”
