Ys X: Nordics – 3rd character trailer introduces the Griegr leaders
A brand new character trailer for Ys X: Nordics is now available, and after Adol and some other key characters, we’re now being introduced to the Griegr leaders. Those villainous individuals will stand in Adol and Karja’s way, and certainly look like formidable opponents.
Here’s the third character trailer for Ys X: Nordics:
Óðr (voiced by Jason Marnocha)
“Adol. Karja. Grow strong.
And once you do, come claim my life.”A highly intelligent humanoid Griegr.
He boasts fighting prowess far beyond any of the other humanoid Griegr and takes an interest in the Mana wielders Adol and Karja, challenging them in combat.
His expectations of their potential is lofty, though he appears to be encouraging Karja’s growth as a warrior in particular.
Lǫgr (voiced by Kieran Regan)
“Sure enough, humans are UTTERLY fascinating.
Yes, fascinating indeed!”A highly-intelligent humanoid Griegr.
He has a fascination for human culture and customs, occasionally appearing before Adol and the others to ask odd questions and give cryptic answers.
In contrast to Jörð and Óðr, he doesn’t show any belligerent tendencies and remains confusingly aloof, leaving his true intentions a mystery.
Jörð (voiced by Rebeka Thomas)
“I do so despise pointless waste…
It vexes me to my core.”A highly-intelligent humanoid Griegr.
Her sadism is evident in her atrocious deeds—most notably, attacking the people of Obelia Gulf and using them like slaves.
She harbors an intense rage toward Karja, who scarred her using Mana, and stalks after Adol and their crew like a vengeful demon.
Ys X: Nordics (Switch) comes out on October 25th in Europe and North America.
