Yo-kai Watch getting a 2DS bundle on November 6th in North America ($99)

Yo-kai Watch is a real phenomenom in Japan, with over 8 million units sold so far for all the games released on Nintendo 3DS (since July 2013). Quite obviously, both Nintendo and Level-5 are hoping the rest of the world will also fall to the Yo-kai Mania, which is why both companies are doing a lot to promote the series overseas.

And a few minutes ago, Nintendo revealed what may well be its ultimate weapon: a Nintendo 2DS bundle, which includes a Crimson Red Nintendo 2DS and a copy of Yo-kai Watch (pre-loaded). But it’s not the bundle itself that’s interesting… it’s the price: only $99 (same price as the regular 2DS, but with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed instead)!

Here’s the packaging of this Yo-kai Watch Nintendo 2DS bundle:

This bundle should prove pretty popular with parents looking for an affordable handheld for their kids, especially if said kids have been watching the Yo-kai Watch anime on Disney XD.

Yo-kai Watch (3DS) comes out on November 6th in North America, December 5th in Australia, and next year in Europe. A demo will be released on the Nintendo eShop this Thursday, in North America!
