Yo-kai Watch 2: demo and pre-loading now available in North America
In just two weeks, Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits / Fleshy Souls will be released in North America. If you’re still not convinced by this second entry, or if you simply don’t know enough about it, there’s two things you can do.
The first one is the most obvious: check out the official website, that Nintendo of America opened earlier this week. It’s filled to the brim with details about the game, including the story, the game’s world, the gameplay systems, the multiplayer, the new Yo-kai, and much more. Click here to check it out!
The second one? Download the demo, which is now available from the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo 3DS. It will give you a good preview of what to expect in the full game.

If you already know you want the game, and that you’d rather buy it from the Nintendo eShop, you should know that it’s now available for pre-loading. You can head to the Nintendo eShop right now and pre-purchase + pre-download either versions (or both, if you want!). That way, you will be able to start downloading the game right away, and start playing at 12AM EST (9PM PST the previous day) on launch day.
If you’re planning to buy the digital version of the game (as digital pre-order or not), you will get to battle and befriend two Yo-kai:
- Robonyan F (Bony Spirits)
- Sailornyan (Fleshy Souls).
Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits / Fleshy Souls (3DS) comes out on September 30th in North America, October 15th in Australia (which means the demo should be available on September 30th in that country), and Spring 2017 in Europe.
