Xenoblade Chronicles X: new update available in North America (Ver. 1.0.2)

Xenoblade Chronicles XYesterday, Nintendo released a brand new update for Xenoblade Chronicles X (the first one since launch, in December). Unfortunately, it doesn’t add any feature, and doesn’t even fix anything. All it does is add Spanish and French subtitles to the North American version of the game (which was the only one to get this update, as it was not released in Europe).

Here’s the “changelog” of Ver. 1.0.2 of Xenoblade Chronicles X:

Spanish and French subtitles have been added. To display these subtitles, please set the system language to the desired language.

To download this update, you have several options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated. You should have the latest version the next time you lanch the game;
  • if not, you can launch Xenoblade Chronicles X from the Home Menu (not the Quick Start Menu) in order to trigger the download and installation of the update.

To check that you have the latest version of the game, simply launch it. You should see “Ver. 1.0.2” just below the game title, on the title screen.
