Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – JP Commercials, 2nd soundtrack preview (Black tar)

In just two weeks, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will finally be released on Nintendo Switch. To help tide fans over in the final days before this highly-anticipated release, and to properly promote it, Nintendo has revealed not one, but three commercials for the game in Japan.

The first one is the longest, and focuses on the story:

The second commercial focuses on the Skells, the giant mechs you can hop on board to go and explore Planet Mira and battle some of the largest creatures that call it home:

Finally, the third and final Japanese commercial focuses on exploration. There are many places for you to check out on Planet Mira!

Also, Nintendo has shared the second soundtrack preview video for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. This one features the first half of “Black tar”, the theme that starts playing when fighting standard enemies on foot. The intense guitar riffs perfectly encapsulate the intensity of battles on Planet Mira, with rapping kicking in half-way through.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition (Switch) comes out on March 20th worldwide.
