UK: video games sales for Week 52, 2015 (ending December 26th)

Week 52 is Christmas week, one of the most important weeks of the year for video games sales in many countries and regions. Unfortunately for Nintendo, it’s consoles and games are (almost) completely MIA in the Software Top 40 in the United Kingdom! Indeed, the only game on Nintendo platforms is Just Dance 2016, at #28 (- 2 places compared to Week 51).

Don’t try looking for any Wii U or Nintendo 3DS games in the Top 40: there isn’t a single one. The best-seller on Wii U is still Mario Kart 8 (followed by Splatoon and Super Mario Maker), while on Nintendo 3DS, it’s Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (followed by Tomodachi Life and Mario Kart 7) who sold the best.
