The Digiverse is expanding… A new rift has opened, leading to Revenge of the Savage Planet!
- Revenge of the Savage Planet Rift
- Experts can explore the world of Revenge of the Savage Planet, visiting Stellaris Prime, Xephyr, and the Zenithian Rift
- Three new POIs on the Digiverse Expedition Map, with six new exhibits
- New decorative items and vending machine
- New Staff Outfit and space-age Staff Room items
- Discover new Materials for creating items in the Workshop
- The Digiverse map will grow over time as new games are discovered, providing new exhibits, decorations and gameplay
- Centrepiece Habitat Room Items
- 5 new large centrepiece decorations have been added to POIs that, once unlocked, can be purchased with Kudosh:
- Cave Centrepiece – Underwilds POI
- Jungle Centrepiece – Eaten Track POI
- Desert Centrepiece – Parched Prairie POI
- Grassland Centrepiece – Goldrush Stream POI
- Arctic Centrepiece – Iceberg Dip POI

Improvements & Fixes
QoL Improvements
- Improved the contrast of the Habitat Density slider dial so that it’s easier to see
- Improved messaging for animals gaining Knowledge in the Spa Devices
- Improved messaging when trying to place an animal in the Deconstructor
- Improved messaging around an animal’s current Sanctuary Points progress: it should now be much clearer how much Biodiversity and Sanctuary Points you’ll gain when releasing an animal
- Wildlife decoration items can now be placed in the Wildlife Welfare Room
- Rebalanced the “Somebody is stuck in the museum” tannoy line so that it only triggers for serious navigation issues
- Slightly narrowed the build bounds of the Small Terrarium so it can be placed flush against angled walls
- Reduced the max number of POIs required for some challenging Biodiversity objectives
- Improved the messaging of the Spa Day trait to help explain its benefits
- More idle animations for a variety of Habitat animals
- Robo staff can now be assigned to receive a mod by dragging them over the Robo Mod-Stop machine
- Changed the Frozen Gingerbread Globe’s Buzz bonuses so that they no longer require unfestive and slightly morbid items such as the Prehistory Hide
Fixes
- Improved save file creation and cycling to make saving more stable
- Fixed a crash with the wildlife inspector for the vet room
- Fixed a prevalent crash that occurs with the lighting system for some players
- Fix for a crash when the Terrarium is deleted, but the dead animals remain
- Fix for Terrariums becoming unreachable for experts and preventing restoration
- Fix for phantom exhibits – exhibits should no longer leave a floating buzz bonus
- Fixed an issue where the Goldrush stream did not track correctly
- Fix for Total Exhibit buzz objectives not accounting for decoration of rooms

Zooseum Taster
- All players can now access
- Silverbottom Park, a new museum location
- The first star of the new Zooseum DLC campaign
- The first 3 Points of Interest of the new Farflung Isles expedition map
- The new Wildlife exhibit theme is now discoverable in Farflung Isles, alongside a new POI in the Bone Belt
- A new Wildlife Expert can be hired in any museum via a job advert, after gaining one star in Memento Mile and after playing the first star of the Zooseum campaign.
- Unlocking the new POIs Sticky Thicket, Farflung Jungle, and The Heat Line provides:
- 6 new exhibits
- Wildlife-themed decoration
- Zooseum-themed plushies, books, onesies and posters for the Gift Shop
- Slushie and Hotdog Kiosks
- An additional Wildlife exhibit can be found on the Bone Belt
New High-Level Curator Class Rewards
- Added new rewards for higher Curator Class levels. These will be automatically unlocked if you’ve already reached the associated Curator Class:
- Curator Class 7 – Digital Info Stands
- Curator Class 8 – Tall Ambience Speaker
New Achievement for Pointy Mountains
- Players can now earn an extra achievement for beating Act 5 of Pointy Mountains
Improvements & Fixes
Quality of Life Improvements
- Significant overhaul to the exhibit inspector UI. This change aims to improve readability and front-load key information:
- Spirit, Fish and Animal exhibit inspectors now have sub-tabs which reorganise their key information
- Spirit, fish and animals now show their quality on their associated room UI when viewed in the exhibit list
- Font sizes for additional exhibit features, such as messiness and spirit patience, have been reworked to be more readable
- The cause of death for fish and animals has been updated to be clearer
- Exhibit descriptions now have a dedicated place in the details tab of the exhibit inspector
- Modified aquarium capacity calculations so that smaller aquariums receive a slightly higher capacity. Minimum-sized aquariums are not affected, but the room size required to reach a capacity of 4 fish and above has been reduced.
- We will continue to monitor fish capacity and player feedback on this issue
- The Marketing Room Bean Bag now provides a small amount of energy when used by staff
- Added a trait to the Lava Lamp to explain that it increases the nearby temperature
- Haunted TV – Added Amusing trait
- Reduced Prosperity Potion workshop cost from $15,000 to $1,750
- Added the Unique trait to the unique Vampire Survivors exhibits
Fixes
- Fantasy experts restoring exhibits now gain +5XP instead of +3XP
- Fixed an issue with Darwin Charlston changing appearance
- Fixed an issue with the pause menu flashing

How to download updates for Two Point Museum on Nintendo Switch 2?
To download the updates for Two Point Museum, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
