Taiko Drum Master: Atsumete Tomodachi Dai Sakusen compatible with all amiibo

Earlier this month, Bandai-Namco gave some details about the amiibo compatibilty in Taiko Drum Master: Atsumete ☆ Tomodachi Dai Sakusen!. As mentioned before, the game will be compatible with the following amiibo:

• Animal Crossing series amiibo*. They unlock the Animal Crossing medley song (also unlockable via the Mecha-Don Gasha), and some elements to use in the Kisekae Shoot mode (a mode where you can take pictures of Don-chan and various other characters and elements).
• Pac-Man amiibo. It unlocks the EAT’EM UP! song (also unlockable via the Mecha-Don Gasha), and some elements to use in the Kisekae Shoot mode.

It turns out that the game is compatible with all the amiibo from the two Animal Crossing series, not just the Isabelle figure.

What’s more, it’s not just the Animal Crossing amiibo which are compatible, as pretty much all the amiibo released and announced so far will be compatible. When you use an amiibo other than Pac-Man or one from the Animal Crossing series, you will get some “ovals”: the in-game currency, that you can use with the Mecha-Don-Gasha.
