Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2: overview trailer, commercials, screenshots

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo made quite a few Mario-related announcements as part of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebrations. One of them was the surprise release of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 on October 2nd on Nintendo Switch.

And today, the company shared the usual overview trailer for the game. It lasts over 7 minutes, and goes over all that the two games have to offer (as well as the new amiibo).

NB: the trailer is only available in Japanese as of writing, but the English version will be added to this post as soon as it’s available!

And that’s not all: Nintendo has also shared two commercials for the collection. They each feature an iconic music tracks from Super Mario Galaxy.

The first one features Gusty Garden Galaxy:

Speaking of music, don’t forget that the soundtracks of both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are now available on Nintendo Music for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers!

Alternatively, you will be able to listen to the music via the in-game music player. It will feature all 154 tracks from both games, including the new tracks from the pages of Rosalina’s storybook.

Also, Nintendo has announced that three sets of icons elements will be available via the Nintendo Switch Online app starting next week (September 25th)!
