Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary: website update, English website, video retrospectives

Update

Nintendo just launched the English version of the website, which can be found there. It’s basically the same thing as the Japanese website… but in English!

We also added a second video, from Nintendo.

A few months ago, Nintendo opened a website for the Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary. At first, there wasn’t too much in there, with only a couple of Mario Maker videos from previous Nintendo Direct presentations, and a message to fans (as well as a hidden Mario in the website’s source)!

But today, Nintendo finally updated the Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary website, and added a new section.

1This “History” section looks back at all the (mainline) Mario games released since Super Mario Bros. on the NES, and excluding all the spin-offs (NB: the dates are for Japan):

– Super Mario Bros. (NES, 1985)
– Super Mario Bros. 2 / Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (NES, 1986)
– Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES, 1988)
– Super Mario Land (GameBoy, 1989)
– Super Mario World (SNES, 1990)
– Super Mario USA / Super Mario Bros. 2 (NES, 1992)
– Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (GameBoy, 1992)
– Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64, 1996)
– Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube, 2002)
– New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo DS, 2006)
– Super Mario Galaxy (Wii, 2007)
– New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii, 2009)
– Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii, 2010)
– Super Mario 3D Land (Nintendo 3DS, 2011)
– New Super Mario Bros. 2 (Nintendo 3DS, 2012)
– New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U, 2012)
– Super Mario 3D World (Wii U, 2013)

Here’s two video retrospectives of the Super Mario series (the first one has no sound):

Which ones of these titles have you played, and on which console(s)?
