SteamWorld Heist: first ambassadors, Community Q&A
Last week, Image & Form launched their SteamWorld Ambassador program, allowing some fans to play SteamWorld Heist before its launch (later this year), and even get some exclusive info.
Yesterday, Image & Form announced the first SteamWorld Ambassadors:
- TheGamingWolf for providing our weapon with the name “Cranky’s Delight”!
- James Jackson for suggesting the name “The Bolt .45″ which will be given to another weapon.
- jsty3105 for the incredibly creative pun “Rust in pieces!”. We’ll not use it as a weapon name, but it will appear in SteamWorld Heist as a bark (epic one liner).
If you participated but weren’t selected… don’t worry! You will be able to try again next week, with a totally different challenge. Apparently, Image & Form is planning to host those “contests” regularly in the upcoming weeks / months.
And yesterday, Image & Form also posted another video: a Community Q&A. Here’s the question they answered:
- Will the SteamWorld Ambassadors get the full game or just a demo?
- Does SteamWorld Heist reference SW Dig in any way? (Paul Michael Howells)
- Which part of Heist is the hardest to create? (Steven Oz)
- Will Heist have platform specific features/content? (WWBatmanD)
- Do you plan on adding amiibo functionality to Heist? (The Geek Guru)
- Will Heist have multiplayer? (Lucas)
SteamWorld Heist (Wii U / 3DS) will come out later this year in Europe and North America.
