SteamWorld Heist and Billy to make their debut on Nintendo 3DS, this Fall

Billy is one courageous and valiant robot. Without him, the mission would most likely have failed. Without him, the evil Scrappers would have won the battle and taken over the world (maybe). In other words, Billy is awesome. He’s so awesome that he even went to fight the level’s boss “mano a mano” but he got his rusty behind kicked, so please do not publish that and came out victorious.
Good news for Billy fans all over the world: SteamWorld Heist will make its debut on Nintendo 3DS. What this means is that you will be able to get Billy on your 3DS before any other console. In an interview published on NintendoLife, Brjann Sigurgeirsson (CEO of Image & Form) explained why Billy is so awesome the game is coming out on the 3DS first.
Back when the game came out on Nintendo 3DS, in August 2013, it was quite successful right off the gate. Back then, Brjann Sigurgeirsson (a bit too excited) said on a forum that Image & Form’s next game would come out on Nintendo 3DS first… and the internet didn’t forget!
But of course, the main reasons the game is coming out first on Nintendo 3DS is because:
– Image & Form is pretty familiar with the Nintendo 3DS, so they decided to develop SteamWorld Heist for this platform right off the gate. It was also more convenient for them;
– SteamWorld Dig just kept on selling steadily on Nintendo 3DS, many weeks after the game’s release, so it’s a way for Image & Form to give something back to a very supportive community.
And fans don’t have to worry: SteamWorld Heist will be fully featured on Nintendo 3DS, and nothing will be lost compared to the other versions (with the exception of graphics, obviously). What this means is that yes, Billy will be as heroic on Nintendo 3DS as on Wii U or PC.
