SteamWorld Heist – Ambassador Challenge #6: Name a Space Bar in SteamWorld Heist
SteamWorld Heist comes out later this year on Nintendo 3DS (then later on Wii U), but if you’re interested, you can play the game before everyone else. To do so, you simply have to become a SteamWorld Ambassador. How to become one? Well, it’s quite simple: you just need to win one of Image & Form’s challenges!
And after a little break due to the Summer holidays (even robots and people making games about robots need vacations!), Image & Form is back with a new SteamWorld Ambassador Challenge. This time around, fans have to come up with the name of one of the space bars in the game. But what are space bars, anyway?
Well, they’re places where robots go after “work”, in order to relax a bit… just humans like in real life! For you, the player, it’s a crucial place: that’s where you can recruit new team members, gather information for your missions, purchase new weapons and upgrades, and more. To make your experience as pleasant as possible, you can even listen to music tracks composed by Steam Powered Giraffe (who are composing the game’s soundtrack).
But there isn’t one central bar where you need to go regularly: in fact, there’s several of them, each with their own goods, bartenders, guests… and their own unique name! That’s where the SteamWorld Ambassador Challenge #6 kicks in: you need to name that bar. Sounds simple, right? Here’s some guidelines:
- The establishment is frequently visited by Royalist military grunts on leave.
- The bartender’s name is Whoopsy Tubberbottom.
- Steam Powered Giraffe is playing there.

Leave your name suggestion(s) (and ask any questions) in the comments below [on this page!]. We need your ideas by Sunday August 16th at 23:59 CEST (EU) / 5:59 PM EDT (NA). We’ll reveal the winner in next week’s blog update (Tuesday). By submitting your ideas you give us the right to freely use them in our products and services. We reserve the right to judge if the winning entry appears in SteamWorld Heist or not.
