Splatoon: tweets, pictures and video of the day (May 19th)
Today, the Squid Research Lab has posted various messages on the official Splatoon account on Twitter. First, they talked about Spike: this jolly fellow might seem a bit suspicious, but he can be really useful. If you give him some Super Sea Snail, you can upgrade your gear in order to get more abilities (chosen at random).
There’s various kind of abilities for your gear. However, there’s a catch: abilities in the extra slots are less powerful/effective than those that came with the gear.
In the plaza, you can meet the Inkling of other players (that you met during online battles or via Miiverse). You can check out their equipment, and see what kind of gear and abilities they’re using. If you find something interesting, you can order it right away!
