Splatoon: the Inkbrush to be available later today (North America) / tomorrow (Europe/Japan)

During the Splatoon Direct, in early May, Nintendo announced that new content for Splatoon would be added regularly to the game. The first batch of new content (with a new weapon and a new map, along with the first Ranked Battle mode) was released on Tuesday (Monday if you live in North America)… but there’s actually more to come this week!

The official Twitter account for Splatoon just announced that a new weapon would be added within the next 24 hours: the Inkbrush. It’s similar to the Splat Roller, but it covers a much smaller area… that being said, it also allows you to run much faster! You can use special melee attacks, in order to splash ink at nearby opponents. The weapon comes with the Sprinkler and the Inkstrike.

– Europe: 4AM, June 6th
– UK: 3AM, June 6th
– North America (EDT): 10PM, June 5th
– North America (PDT): 7PM, June 5th
– Japan: 11AM, June 6th.
