Splatoon: preview of some of the new gear, including the Sushi Chef outfit

On Thursday morning (Wednesday evening for North America), Nintendo will release the first major Software update for Splatoon. It will add quite a lot of things to the game, starting with two new games modes, but also over 40 new pieces of gear for your Inkling. Today, the Squid Research Lab posted a picture on their official Twitter account, in order to give us a sneak peak at some of the new gear included in the major update for Splatoon:

But that’s not all: Famitsu also published the preview for this week’s issue, and unsurprisingly, Splatoon will once again be featured in the magazine on Thursday. In their post, they included a picture of the Sushi Chef oufit, which won the Famitsu’s Squid Fashion Contest a few months ago. Since it was mentionned in the announcement from Nintendo of Europe, we already know it will indeed be included in the European (and North American) version of the game.

Unfortunately, we still have no information regarding the Ika Musume / Squid Girl costume, which will also be part of the major Software update this week.
