Splatoon: pic and video of the day (March 4th)

Today, the official Twitter account for Splatoon is focusing on Judd, the very meowtastic judge of the turf battles. Apparently, when he’s not doing his work, he can be found sleeping lazily on the central plaza. Apparently, the Japanese name for “cat” comes from “sleeping child”… at least, that’s one theory! The older a cat, the more it spends time sleeping… but just how old is Judd? One thing’s for sure: he got a really relaxed way to sleep.

The person in charge of the Squid Resarch Lab Twitter account then notes that the Image Division of the Lab  has been focusing a lot on videos lately. He also notes that Judd’s cat got a rather odd shape, and mentions a legend/rumour that says that a cat’s tail splits in two as they get older, before becoming a Youkai (monsters/spirits from the Japanese folklore).
