Splatoon: new weapon available (Octobrush Nouveau)

In a recent interview with GameInformer, Nintendo revealed that the distribution of free content for Splatoon would end in January. In other words, we only have a few weeks left with new weapons and maps. After that, Splatfests and Software updates will continue, but nothing new will be added to the game.

And today, to celebrate the New Year, Nintendo added a new weapon to Splatoon (even though nothing was announced beforehand). This one is from the Roller Family: the Octobrush Nouveau. As the name implies, it’s “just” a variant of the Octobrush: it has exactly the same stats, but it doesn’t come with the same Sub and Special Weapons. With the Octobrush Nouveau, you will get Splat Bombs (Sub Weapons), and the Inzooka (Special Weapon).
