Splatoon: latest and last map to be added in a few hours (Ancho-V Games)
In a recent interview with GameInformer, Nintendo revealed that the distribution of free content for Splatoon would end in January. And today, Nintendo announced that the very last map for the game would be added tomorrow, at the usual time. It’s the Ancho-V Games map, which was initially revealed in a trailer last year.
Ancho-V Games is the name of the company who made the Squid Jump mini-game, and the map is actually located in their office. One would think the ruckus caused by Inklings shooting ink at each other would lead to severe delays in game development, but it looks like the developers aren’t phazed by all this.
Here’s some screenshots for the Ancho-V Games map:
This new map will be available on Friday morning (instead of Saturday, due to the 10th Splatfest in Japan):
- Europe: 3AM
- UK: 2AM
- North America (ET): 9PM (today)
- North America (PT): 6PM (today)
- Japan: 11AM
With Ancho-V Games, Nintendo will officially be done with additional content for Splatoon (the last weapon was added last week). Here’s pictures of all the maps available in the game:
