Splatoon: 4th Japanese commercial, special clothes in Girls Mode 3, more

Early today, Nintendo uploaded a fourth TV Commercial for Splatoon, from Japan. As opposed to the others, this one focused entirely on the Hero Mode (Single Player), during which the players has to go fight the Octarian Army.

Girls Mode 3: KiraKira Code

In order to promote Splatoon, Nintendo is going to distribute some special clothes for Girls Mode 3: KiraKira Code in Japan. Starting tomorrow, the following will be available via SpotPass:

– two dresses
– 2 t-shirts
– 1 hoodie
– 1 knit cap

Squid Girl X Splatoon

Last week, Famitsu and Weekly Shonen Champion announced a special Squid Girl X Splatoon collaboration. In the next issue of both magazines (coming out on May 28th), there will be special illustrations by Masahiro Anbe (author of the Ika Musume / Squid Girl manga).

Yesterday, we got a picture for the Famitsu illustration, and today, we have the one from Weekly Shonen Champion!

Yogurty’s Froyo

In order to promote Splatoon, Nintendo has come up with a rather unique collaboration involving Yogurty’s Froyo and Yogen Fruz. From June 1st, 2015 until September 8th, if you go to Canadian Yogurty’s and Yogen Fruz stores, you will be able to get special Splatoon flavours and toppings.
