Sneaky Ninja: focus on Chapter 2 (Bento Plains), new gameplay mechanics

Sneaky NinjaYesterday, Starfall Studios posted anoter blog post for Sneaky Ninjas, showcasing Chapter 2 (the Bento Plains), as well as new gameplay mechanics and elements. Since that level is all about farmland, there’s plenty of farm-themed mechanics for the players to take advantage of. For example, at sunset, there’s much more shadow for you to hide in than during daylight.

There’s also plenty of places to hide into, thanks to rain and grice: the best thing is… you don’t even need to crouch to hide. And if you’re an animal person, you’re definitely going to love the pigs, sheep, and cows. If you’re not, you’re still going to love them, because you can hide behind them, or enjoy special mechanics:

  • pigs: you can bounce on them;
  • sheep: you can hide into their wool;
  • cows: can be used as weapon, by angering them.

Finally, there’s barns for you to take a detour into, in order to hide yourself for example. But you need to be careful, because samurai can also patrol inside.

Here’s a couple of screenshots for Sneaky Ninja:
