SEGA: more details about Nintendo Switch 2 line-up, SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS confirmed for launch day
SEGA is one of several third-party publishers that have already announced more than one game for the Nintendo Switch 2. And today, the company shared some additional details about its line-up, and confirmed that SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS will be available on launch day (June 5th), alongside Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S and Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut.
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS speeds onto Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025! Experience this definitive blend of Shadow, Classic Sonic, and Modern Sonic gameplay with enhanced graphics for Nintendo Switch 2.
Play as Shadow in a brand-new story campaign featuring never-before-seen abilities that prove why he’s known as the Ultimate Life Form! Also included is a complete remaster of the highly acclaimed Sonic Generations™, a time-traveling adventure featuring a greatest-hits collection of 3D and 2D Sonic stages, now with upgraded visuals and new bonus content.
As for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, it will launch a couple of weeks later on June 19, 2025 (same day as other platforms, including the original Nintendo Switch). As for Two Point Museum, it will be available later this year.
Pre-orders for SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS, RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S will kick off tomorrow (April 24th).
