Rune Factory 5: tons of screenshots

Rune Factory 5 is now available digitally in Japan (fans looking to buy a physical copy will have to wait a few more hours before stores open!), which means that the first brand new Rune Factory game in nearly 9 years is finally upon us!

To celebrate, 4Gamer (who have had lots of time with the game ahead of release) have shared tons of screenshots (over 50 in total). They don’t really spoil anything, but showcase the beginning of the game, along with some farming action, some exploration, some battles, and more. Also, the first Software update (Ver. 1.10.1) is now available. Alongside the usual bug fixes and improvements, it also adds two bonus costumes from Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny (available for free!). Other costumes are also available as paid DLC (more details in this post).

Rune Factory 5 (Switch) does not have a release date in Europe and North America yet, but is slated for a 2021 release.
