Rodea – The Sky Soldier: gameplay trailer for the Wii version

RodeaRodea: The Sky Soldier’s history is a bit troubled. It first started as a Wii game, before being ported to the Nintendo 3DS. In the end, the game came out on both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS… but also on Wii. In Japan, the first-print copies of the Wii U version included the Wii version as a rather neat bonus.

In Europe and North America, the Wii version will also be included with the first-print copies of Rodea: The Sky Soldier on Wii U. It will even come with a reversible-cover, for those who want to put that version on display.

Yesterday evening, NIS America uploaded a gameplay trailer for this Wii version of the game, which shows why you should be interested in it. Indeed, it’s significantly different to the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U version: controls, level design, some extra bonuses (such as 2-4 multiplayer races), and more.

Here’s the list of Wii-exclusive features:

  • Motion controls with Wii Remote;
  • Power-ups
  • Exclusive level design;
  • Bonus stages;
  • Multiplayer vs. stages, playable up to 4 players.

Here’s the gameplay trailer for the Wii version of Rodea: The Sky Soldier:

Rodea: The Sky Soldier (Wii U / 3DS / Wii) comes out on November 10th in North America, and November 13th in Europe.
