Ratalaika Games: updates on upcoming projects

Yesterday, Ratalaika Games shared an update about several of their upcoming projects, that range from updates to already released titles to brand new games/ports. It looks like they have quite a lot on their plate!

Plantera is already available on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, but Ratalaika Games has “more Plantera news” for Nintendo fans. Nintendo Switch port incoming?

Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition

A few weeks ago, Ratalaika Games announced they were working on an update for Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, that will add the following:

  • A Boss Rush mode with online leaderboards
  • A new unlockable character
  • New languages
  • Improvements
  • and more…

The update has been suent to QA, and should be released sometime in March… provided everything goes well.

League of Evil

We’ve known that League of Evil was coming to the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS for a while, but we still don’t have a release date yet (despite the game already being available on Steam). The reason for that delay is due to the special licence the developers needed to get from Nintendo, required from cross-platform play between the PC and Nintendo versions of the game.

League of Evil (Wii U, 3DS – eShop) should be released later this year.

Peasant Knight

Just like Leage of Evil, this game has been delayed due to the required licence for cross-platform play. It’s not like the developers have been sitting idly while waiting, though: they have been adding more content to the game (music, levels, boss battles, and more).

Defend your Crypt

The developers have been hard at work on an update adding 20 new stages, various other improvements, and more. Unfortunately, the release has been delayed due to some technical difficulties, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be sent to QA any time soon…

New projects

Ratalaika has two new ports for the Nintendo 3DS in the works… can you guess which ones?
