Pokémon GO

Are you playing Pokémon GO using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory? If yes, you’ll be glad that there’s now several notification modes:

  • Scanning for both PokéStops or Pokémon simultaneously (default, unchanged);
  • Disable either PokéStops or Pokémon notifications;
  • Completely disable notifications when you’re out with your Buddy Pokémon, in order to only record the distance walked.

Here’s a picture of the new notifications settings:

Finally, the developers made it so the Pokémon GO Plus accessory would now remain paired with Pokémon GO if you choose to use the app while interacting with Pokémon or Gyms.

Here’s the video message from Shigeki Morimoto (Game Designer, and Battle Director of the Pokémon series), for the Pokémon 20th Anniversary:

Pokémon Ukiyo-e

Ukiyo-e is most definitely one of the famous genres of art, and one Japan is renown for. And it turns out that the Pokémon series is getting some woodblock prints for its 20th Anniversary. Unfortunately, there’s catch: they’re extremely expensive… 48 600 Yen!
