Pokémon Sun and Moon

Today, The Pokémon Company revealed a new promotional video for Pokémon Sun and Moon. It shows various segments of gameplay footage, such as the new Battle Royal mode for multiplayer, Poké-Amie, Pokémon trading, some new areas, Pokémon riding/surfing, and more. There’s also an interesting tidbit at 2:05, with a mysterious dance…

Remember the Fan Edition for Pokémon Sun and Moon in Europe? It turns out that a similar edition will be released in the United States, exclusively via Amazon.com. It’s a Dual Pack with a copy of both versions, but only one Steelbook (that can store the two cartridges). It costs $89.99, and can be pre-ordered right now on Amazon (NB: affiliate link).

Here’s some pictures:

Also, in its latest issue, CoroCoro mentions a special promotion (spotted by Serebii): by bringing a special ticket to participating stores, players can get the CoroCoro Guide Book for Pokémon Sun and Moon by pre-ordering the game.

But that’s not all: the magazine also announced that the next issue, to be released on August 12th, will have a “Southern Island Alola”. It’s not clear what this “guide” will include: new details, or recap of previously revealed info? We will have to wait until next month before find out!

Pokémon Sun and Moon (3DS) comes out on November 18th in Japan and North America, and November 23rd in Europe.

Pokémon GO

Yesterday, the iOS version of Pokémon GO received an update. It brings the game to Ver. 1.0.1, with the following changes/fixes:

  • Trainers do not have to enter their username and password repeatedly after a force log out
  • Added stability to Pokémon Trainer Club account log-in process
  • Resolved issues causing crashes
  • Fixed Google Account Scope

Also, as noted by various users, Pokémon GO is now officially available in Germany. It looks like other European countries will follow before the end of the week!
