The Strongest Mega Evolution – Act IV

Today, The Pokémon Company revealed a trailer for The Strongest Mega Evolution – Act IV special, to be broadcast this Fall in Japan. As revealed on Monday, it will feature Zygarde and the mysterious new Pokémon spotted in the teaser for the next Pokémon movie. There’s also a poster for the episode, that you can find below!

Shiny Rayquaza

If you live in North America, then you should hurry up and launch Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire, go to the Mystery Gift Menu, select Receive Gift, then Receive via Internet. Why, you ask? Well, doing so will allow you to get a Shiny Rayquaza (the same one distributed at EB Games stores in Australia!)

Pokémon World Championship

The Pokémon World Championship 2015 will be held from August 21st to August 23rd. If you go there, you will be able to get a special Sharpedo:

– Nature: Adamant
– Hidden Ability: Speed Boost
– Moves: Aqua Jet, Crunch, Ice Fang and Destiny Bond
– Item: Sharpedonite
– Only for Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire

Battle competition

Today, a new Battle Competition was announced for Japan: the CoroCoro Challenge (which is only open to kids at elementary school). Here’s some details:

– Rules: standard VGC Rules
– Registration: August 27th to September 25th
– Battles: September 25th to Setpember 28th

At the end of the competition, the 32 best players in West and East divisions will be invited to a real-life tournament, to be held in November, but also the annual Pokémon Dragon Challenge.
