Pokémon GO – Community Day

The next Community Day will take place on July 8th, and will allow you to catch a special Squirtle. As usual, more details about that special Pokémon (specifically the special move it will be able to learn while evolving) will be revealed at a later date, closer to the event itself.

As usual, there will also be some bonuses running during the event:

1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
3-Hour Lures

The Community Day will take place on July 8th from:

Asia-Pacific: 12PM to 3PM (GMT+9)
Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: 10AM to 1PM BST / 11AM to 2PM CEST
Americas and Greenland: 11AM to 2PM PT

Pokémon GO – Regice, Regirock, Registeel

Last week, it was announced that Regice, Regirock, Registeel were coming soon to Pokémon GO, and more precisely Raid Battles. In fact, Regice is already available for you to battle and catch, and will stay until July 19th. Regirock, Registeel will follow later this Summer, and will also be available via Raid Battles.

Pokémon GO – Trading

Here’s some additional details about Trading in Pokémon GO, with the base amount of Stardust required for each type of trade (can be lowered if Friendship Level is high):

Standard Trade: 100 Stardust
Legendary Pokémon, Pokémon already in your Pokédex, and Shiny Pokémon: 20 000 Stardust
Legendary Pokémon or Shiny Pokémon not in your Pokédex: 1 000 000 Stardust

Also, keep in mind there’s a limit of 1 Gift you can send to a friend each day.

Pokémon GO – Alolan Forms

At the moment, you can get Alolan Sandshrew, Alolan Vulpix, Alolan Meowth, and Alolan Grimer via Eggs (those obtained via Friends gifts). But there’s even more Alolan Forms on the way: Alolan Rattata and Alolan Radicate are already available, Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude are coming on July 14th, and more Alolan Forms will be avaiable via Raids soon.
