Pokémon GO: Kyogre now available, first Community Day on Saturday

Looking to get Kyogre in Pokémon GO? If yes, it’s time to head outside: the Legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn region is now appearing in Raid Battles around the world. But don’t wait too long: it will only be available for about a month, until February 14th (1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM GMT / 10PM CET / 4AM JST).

Some special boxes can also be purchases from the store:

• Great Box (780 Coins): 9 Premium Raid Passes, 10 Pinap Berry, 10 Star Pieces 
• Ultra Box (1480 Coins): 6 Lucky Eggs, 6 Max Revives, 15 Premium Raid Passes, 20 Star Pieces

Also, Niantic has announced a new type of event for Pokémon GO: the Community Days.

Those are monthly worldwide events, where players around the world can meet up at their local parks to play together. Each one will star a special Pokémon that knows an exclusive move, and there will be special bonuses such as increased XP and Stardust, but also Lure Modules lasting three hours (though only if they were activated during the event).

The first Pokémon GO Community Day will be on January 20th, at the following times:

• Asia-Pacific region: January 20th, 2018, from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. JST (GMT +9)
• Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: January 20, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC (GMT +0)
• The Americas and Greenland: January 20, 2018, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PST (GMT -8)

It will feature a special Pikachu that knows the move Surf, and you will be able to earn double XP during the event.
